Kade continues to be an inspiration to all who know him. He (Kade) was critically injured in a motor vehicle accident in November of 2004. He sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) which required him to be hospitalized for 3 months at U-W Madison Children’s Hospital. To the surprise of his physicians Kade has surpassed many of the hurdles which were projected for him. With hard work he has made remarkable strides toward his amazing recovery. His good nature attitude and sense of humor are contagious to all who come in contact with him. Kade is now 21 years old and continues to work part time at Franks Piggly Wiggly in East Troy. Kade plans on attending Shepherd’s College this fall. Kade is a proficient worker in his Uncle Joe’s milking parlor where much laughing and teasing takes place. Needless to say Kade’s Family is very proud of him.
Kade's Klassic, 501 C (3) charity was formed in response to the kindness a community showered on the Kade Vance family following a 2004 accident in which Kade was seriously injured. Each year this charity selects a family who has either an ill or injured family member and is in need of monetary help. 100% of our profits go to the selected family. Our past beneficiary families pitch in to help "Pay It Forward". The networking has created our own Kades' Klassic Family.
Kade's Klassic is now in the process of planning its' annual event with the anticipation of helping another SE Wisconsin family. We are excited to include the Sue Babcock Memorial 5K Walk/Run during our yearly event. She lost her battle with cancer in the fall of 2011.
